Sem Aalo Ki Sabzi Recipe (Broad Beans) |
Ingredients:
Sem ki phali 250g
Potatoes 2
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Tomato 2 small chopped
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Onion 1
Green chili 2
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tbsp
All spice powder 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Wash the beans, sem ki phali have fibrous string which are preferably removed before chopping them.
- Peel and chop potatoes into medium size pieces.
- Heat oil in a wok add cumin seeds, onion, fry till light golden .
- Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes cook for 5 minutes till oil separate.
- Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, green chilies cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add sem ki phali and potatoes and 1/2 cup water cover and cook on low flame till done.
- Lastly add lemon juice and all spice powder, coriander leaves mix well and cook for 1 minutes.
- Sem aalo is ready to serve.
- Enjoy it with roti or parathas.
