Dahi Chana Chaat Recipe |

Serve 4
Ingredients:
Chickpea 1/2 kg
Green chili chopped as required
Chaat masala to taste
Yogurt 1 cup
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Cumin seed roasted and crushed
Onion 1
Tomato 2
Potato 2
Water as required
Papri as required
Tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves as required
Mint leaves as required
Method:
- In a bowl add chickpea, water cover, and let it soak overnight or 8 hours.
- Drain the soaking water and wash with tap water.
- Cook soaked chickpea in a large pot, add water, and salt cover, and cook for 1, 1/2 to 2 hours. Until chickpeas are tender then drain water. And set aside.
- In a pot add add water, add potatoes cook 12 to 15 minutes until tender.
- Drain water put the potatoes in cool water, peel them and set aside.
- Beat yogurt with cumin, red chili powder, and salt.
- Add boil chickpea to a serving bowl.
- Pour yogurt mixture over it, add potato cube, add tamarind pulp.
- Add onion, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves and mint leaves toss together.
- Finely add papri and chaat masala and serve.
