Ingredients:

Chicken  500 g

Onion  1 medium

Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp

Red chili crushed  1/2 tbsp

Coriander seed crushed  1/2 tsp

Black pepper  powder 1 tsp

Chickpea flour  2 tbsp

Turmeric powder  1/2 tsp

All spice powder   1/2 tsp

Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp

Cumin seed crushed 1/2 tsp

Green chili chopped  2 

Butter 2 tbsp

Salt to taste

Oil  2 tbsp

Method:

  1. In a bowl add chicken mince, chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, crushed red chili, coriander seed crushed, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, all spice powder, coriander leaves chopped, cumin seed, green chili chopped, salt mix well working with the help of your fingers.
  2.  Add melted butter, marinated chicken mixture for 30 minutes in fridge.
  3. Grease your hand with oil .roll a ball of kabab out of the marinated mixture and shape it on a pencil, or skewer. 
  4. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and fry seekh kabab on medium-high heat until golden from all sides.
  5. Heat charcoal on a flame for smoking.
  6. Fry all kabab in batches and smoke with charcoal.
  7. Chicken seekh kabab is ready. serve with ketchup and chutney.


Note:

  • If chopped ginger is watery, squeeze it lightly too, and discard the water.
  • Squeezed the chopped onion lightly between palms to remove excess water.

Chicken seekh kabab is made with chicken mince also known as chicken keema. They are not only delicious and easy to make. Chicken seekh kabab served with paratha and chutney.
