Meethi Seviyan Recipe / Sweet Vermicelli |

Ingredients:
Vermicelli 200 g
Ghee 2 tbsp
Milk 500 ml
Sugar 1/4 cup as per taste
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Almond 4 to 5
Raisin 1/4 cup
Pistachio 4 to 5
Cashew 4 to 5
Method:
- Break the vermicelli and set aside.
- Chop the dry fruit and set aside.
- heat ghee in a deep bottom pan. add vermicelli and roast till fragrant and golden brown. keep the flame low. One done. remove heat and keep aside.
- Boil milk in a pan add sugar and allow it to dissolve. add all the chopped dry fruit, stir them nicely.
- Add vermicelli stir and mix well. Continue to stir for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle cardamom powder and stir well.
- The mixture will start thickening and the vermicelli will also absorbed milk. when all the milk has been absorbed, switch off the gas.
- Serve meethi seviyan hot or cold. Decorate with chopped nuts.
- Enjoy!
Note:
- Dry fruit of your choice can be added.
- You could double or triple the recipe if you need more quantity.
