Ingredients:

Mince beef/mutton  500 g

Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp

Red chili powder   1 tsp

All spice powder

Papaya paste   1 tbsp

Black pepper powder  1 tsp

Turmeric powder  1/2 tsp

Coriander powder  1 tsp

Green chili chopped 2 tbsp

Cumin crushed  1 tsp

Nutmeg powder  1/4 tsp

Cinnamon stick powder  1/4 tsp

Mint leave chopped  1 tbsp

Coriander leave  chopped 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Oil  as required

Thread as required

Coal 1 piece

Method:

  1. Take a bowl add mince add ginger garlic paste, papaya paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, crushed red chili, cumin crushed, nutmeg powder cinnamon powder, and all spice powder.
  2. Add  black pepper powder, mint leaves, coriander leaves, salt mix it well and marinate for 2 hours.
  3. Take  a skewer take an equal size mince flatten it on the skewer into a seekh kabab shape, wet your hand when making the seekh kabab.
  4. Once skewer the kabab roll it with thread.
  5. Fry kabab and smoke with a piece of coal and take it out serving platter. or cook on charcoal until completely cooked.
  6. Dhag kabab is ready to serve.
  7. Serve with paratha, roti, salad, chutney, and raita.


Dhaga Kabab :

Dhaga kabab is a popular street food, especially in Karachi. Dhaga kabab is a type of seekh kabab but is super soft and melts in the mouth. Mutton and beef are the preferred choice of meat for authentic taste.
