Bread Kheer Recipe |

Serve 4
Ingredients:
Bread slice 4
Milk 1 liter
Sugar 1/2 cup
Milk powder 1 cup
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Almond 1/4 cup crushed
Pistachio 1/4 cup crushed
Method:
- Cut bread slices into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry bread slices for 3-4 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Remove from oil and drain on a tissue paper.
- Heat milk in a large heavy bottomed pot on stove.
- Add fried bread in it.
- Cook on low heat for 5 to 6 minutes until milk turn thicken.
- Now add sugar mix well. simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add cardamom powder, milk powder cook for 5-6 minutes or until done.
- Sprinkle almond and pistachio over it.
- Bread kheer is ready to serve.
- Enjoy!
Note:
- This kheer tend to thicken with time so switch it off accordingly.
Bread kheer
Bread kheer is a quick and easy dessert. Bread kheer is flavored with cardamom. rice kheer usually requires slow cooking of the rice in milk and quite a bite of stirring. Bread kheer is far less finicky and takes fraction of time.
