Matar Polao Recipe/Peas Polao |

Serve 3
Ingredients:
Peas 1 cup
Onion 1
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Black pepper 10
Green chili 10
Mint leaves 1/2 cup
Cinnamon stick 1
Cardamom 2
Clove 3
Bay leaves 2
Tomato 2 large
Rice 1/2 kg
Oil 4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Water as required
Method:
- Wash rice until the water turns clear.
- In a pot add water, salt add rice boil until 3/4 done, and strain set aside.
- In a pot add oil and cumin seed, cinnamon stick, cardamom, bay leave black pepper, clove saute till turns aromatic.
- Add onion and cook until turns golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes away, tomato slice, green peas, salt, and green chili and saute well.
- Add water cover and cook until peas are done.
- Add boiled rice, mint leaves cover, and steam cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Matar polao is ready.
- Serve hot with raita and salad.
