Ingredients:

Black chickpea 250 g

Onion  2 medium chopped

Tomato 2  medium   chopped

Red chili powder  1/4 tsp

Tamarind pulp  2 tbsp

Chaat masala 1 tsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Coriander leaves  as required

Mint  leaves  as required

Green chili   2 

Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. In a pot add black chickpea, and water soak overnight or 8 hours.
  2. Drain the water, rinse the chickpeas, and boil them until done.
  3. In a bowl add chopped tomato, onion, coriander and mint leaves, tamarind pulp, red chili powder, cumin powder, green chili, and salt.
  4. Add black chickpea toss to combine everything and squeeze in fresh lemon juice.
  5. Sprinkle chaat masala and serve it.
  6. Before serving garnish with some coriander leaves.
