Aalo Kabab Recipe (Potato Kabab) |

Serve 3
Ingredients:
Potato 500 g
Onion 1 medium
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1/2 tsp
All spice powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin seed 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 1
Chopped green chili 4 to 5
Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
Coriander seed 1 tsp
Mint leaves 2 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Corn flour 1 tbsp
Egg 1
Bread crumb for coating
Method:
- Boil potatoes .peel the skin and mash it. mash with a potato masher or a fork.
- In a large bowl add mash potatoes.add red chili powder, chopped onion, coriander seed, all spice powder, chaat masala. lemon juice, green chilies chopped, coriander leaves, mint leaves,corn flour.
- Black pepper powder red chili flakes and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Make a kababs into round shape.
- In a plate add breadcrumbs.
- Beat an egg with the help of a fork.
- Dip kababs in breadcrumbs.
- After breadcrumbs dip kababs in egg.
- Heat oil in a frying pan fry kababs till golden on both sides.
- Take out kabab on kitchen pepper to absorb excess oil.
- Serve with ketchup and green chutney.
Note:
- Avoid to boil potatoes for long time.
- potatoes tend to get soggy when frozen,aloo kababs cannot be kept in the freezer for a prolonged period of time.
