Kashmiri Pink Tea Recipe

Ingredients:

Water   4 cup

Kashmiri green tea leave 3 tbsp

Milk  as required

Almond  crushed 2 tbsp

Pistachio    crushed 2 tbsp

Green cardamom   5

Baking soda    1 /4 tsp

Sugar to taste

Method:

  1. In a large sauce pan add water, add kashmiri tea bring to boil.
  2. When the boil come add baking soda. lower the heat and keep cooking till the water is reduced to half  the initial amount remove from fire.
  3. When the water is reduced add cold water mix well for 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes you will see deep red bubbles on the surface of tea(kehwa is ready strain the liquid cool and store in refrigerator for 3 to 4 days).
  5. For making milk tea, add milk and green cardamon, add sugar, pour some kehwa .cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Pour in the serving cups and garnish with some crushed almonds and pistachios.

Note:

  • You can adjust kehwa and milk ratio according to your taste.
