Lauki Ghost Recipe/Beef With Bottle Gourd

Ingredients:

Beef  500 g

Luaki(bottle guard) 1/2 kg

Onion 1 large Slice

Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp

Tomato 2 chopped 

Yogurt 3 tbs

Red chili powder 1 -1/2 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

All spice powder 1/2 tsp

Black pepper 1/4 tsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil 1 /4 cup

Green chilies 6 to 8

Coriander leaves for garnish

Water 2 cup

Method:

  1. Add onion slice fry until golden brown in color.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste keep on frying raw smell of ginger garlic paste will also disappear.
  3. Add beef cube ,saute until it is no longer pink.
  4. Now add chopped tomato, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, black pepper crushed mix well and cook on high flame till oil comes on the surface and tomatoes reduce.
  5. Now add yogurt mix well.
  6. Add the water and stir, cover the lid and cook for 20 minutes until the meat is tender.
  7. Now add cubed bottle gourd and stir, cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes until bottle gourd is cooked.
  8. Add all spice powder, coriander leaves, green chilies mix and cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. Serve hot with rice and chapati.
Tip:

Dice the bottle into large chunk the bottle gourd wont's mush up in the gravy.
