CHICKEN JALFREZI
Chicken Jalfrezi Recipe

Serve                         4

Ingredients:

Chicken bone less 1/2 kg

Onion 1 large cut in cube

Bell pepper  cut in cube 

Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp

Turmeric powder 1 tsp

Green chili 2 sliced

Red chili powder 1 tsp

Tomato 2 medium 

Black pepper crushed 1 tsp

All spice powder 1 tsp

Cumin powder 1 tsp

Oil as required

Salt to taste

Coriander leaves  2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat  oil in a a pan add onion cube and bell pepper fry 4 to 5 minutes. set it aside.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan on medium heat add ginger garlic paste stir fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Add chicken and cook until the color of the chicken change.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder,all spice powder.
  5. Add cumin powder, black pepper crushed, salt cook for a few minutes.
  6. Pour a tomato puree cover and cook.
  7. Add 1 /4 cup water cover and cook until the chicken is completely cooked.
  8. Add fried bell pepper and onion. cook it for a minutes.
  9. Add coriander leaves, green chilies sliced.
  10. Chicken jalfrezi is ready.
  11. Serve with rice.

Tip:

  • Fill a water in a deep pan bring it to boil when it start boiling, tomatoes in it, boil for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Turn of the flame remove tomatoes from hot water. peel and remove the skin.
  • Transfer to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth puree.
  • Fresh tomato puree is ready to use.
