Achar Ghost Recipe

Ingredient :

Beef (boneless ) 500 g

Coriander powder 1/2 tsp

Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp

Yogurt  1 cup

Turmeric  1/2 tsp

Onion 2 medium chopped

Funnel seed  ground 1  tsp

Mustard seed 1/2 tsp

Nigella sativa 1/2 tsp

Fungreek 1/2 tsp

Tomato paste  3 cup

Cumin 1 tsp

Red chili powder  2 tsp

Green chili 8

Lemon juice 3 to 4 tbsp

Oil  1/2 cup

Ingredient :

Ground achar masala for chili

Funnel  1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tsp

Red chili powder 1 tsp

Nigella sativa 1/2 tsp

Mustard seed 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Cut beef into small cubes. 
  2. Marinate beef with ginger garlic paste, chili powder, salt, and yogurt for 2 hours.
  3. Heat oil in a pan on a medium flame for a few minutes. Add onions and fry 5 minutes. add marinated meat to a pan and fry till the oil separates from masala.
  4. Coriander powder, cumin, funnel seeds, mustard seed, nigella sativa and Fungreek, turmeric add in a pan, add tomato paste, add 1 glass of water cook on low until meat is tender tomato water dries out.  
  5. Add stuffed chilies, leave it for dum, till chilies tender achar ghost ready to serve 
  6. Serve with naan.

(slit green chilies from one side in length, take out the seed, and stuff with funnel seeds, coriander powder, turmeric, nigella sativa, red chili powder, lemon juice mustard seed. (allspice are ground).
