Mix Daal Pakora Recipe / Lentil Fritters |

Ingredients:
Moong daal 1/2 cup
Chana daal 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Green chili 4-5
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Baking soda 1/8 tsp
Ginger grated 1 tbsp
Onion 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method:
- Take a bowl add moong and chana daal, wash daal with water and soak them for 6 hours.
- After 6 hours wash daal again.
- Grind the soaked daal into a coarse paste.
- In a bowl transfer daal mixer and add chopped coriander leaves, chopped onion, chopped green chili, red chili powder, grated ginger, cumin seed, baking soda and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients together. add water if needed, batter should be soft.
- Heat oil in a wok on medium high heat.
- To check if the oil is ready, put one drop of batter in oil.the batter should sizzle and come up but not change color right away.
- Take about 1 tbsp of batter into the oil.
- Fry until golden brown and crisp ,drain off excess oil and transfer it over a plate lined with tissue paper.
- Now ready to serve crispy and tasty Delicious mix daal pakora with ketchup.
Note:
- Don't cook pakora at high flame as it will become golden brown from outside and uncooked from inside, cook it at low to medium flame.
