Aloo Palak Pakora Recipe /Potato Spinach Pakora

Ingredients:

Spinach 1 bunch

Potato   2 

Onion 1 cup slice

Green chili  2 -3

Gram flour  2 cup

Red chili powder  1 tsp

lemon juice  1 tbsp

Salt  to taste

Coriander seed  1 tsp

Cumin seed  1 tsp

Coriander leaves   2 tbsp

Mint leaves    2  tbsp

Water as needed

Oil  for frying

Method:

  1. Rinse spinach leaves in lots of water many times and chop the spinach.
  2. Wash and chop potato, chop onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, and mint leaves.
  3. In a bowl, add spinach, potato, onion, green chili, coriander and mint leaves,red chili powder, coriander seed, cumin seed, lemon juice, salt, and gram flour, mix together.
  4. Slowly add water and mix everything well.
  5. The mixture should be thick enough to scoop it with your hand or a spoon and drop into oil.

Frying Pakora:

  1. Pour oil in a wok and heat on low flame.
  2. Drop about tablespoons of batter into the oil.
  3. Make only 5-6 pakora at a time. Do not overcrowd the oil, too many pakoras in the oil will lower the temperature of the oil.
  4. Fry until golden brown and crispy, turning as needed to cook evenly.
  5. Drain onto a paper towel.
  6. Serve warm with ketchup and chutney.
