No Yeast Homemade Doughnuts Recipe


Preparation time     10 Minutes

Cook time                 20 Minutes

Serve                         20 Doughnuts

Ingredients:

All purpose flour 2 cup

Backing powder 2 tbsp

Butter  1/4 cup

Egg 1

Sugar 1/2 cup

Cinnamon powder 1 tsp

Salt 1/2 tsp

Milk 1/2 cup

Oil for frying

For glaze;

Powder sugar

Cocoa powder

Milk

Hot water

Method:

  1. Whisk warm milk,and melted butter together in a bowl mix until combine.
  2. Add the egg, cinnamon powder, backing powder, sugar, all purpose flour, butter and milk mixture to make a dough, sticky dough is formed.
  3. Turn out the dough onto a floured. press out the dough about 1/2 inch thickness 12 inch rectangle. cut the with a doughnuts cutter.
  4. In deep frying pan heat up oil to deep fry the donuts.if the donuts turns a golden brown.
  5. Transfer cook doughnuts on a paper towel to remove extra grease.
  6. Dip hot doughnuts in the glaze enjoy right away.

Make a glaze:

Chocolate glaze

Add 2 to 3 tbs of cocoa powder add powder sugar 1/4 cup, add milk  2 to 3 tbs heat till  from a smooth glaze.

Icing sugar glaze

Powder sugar 170 g with 2 to 3 tbs of hot water, whisk well dip one side of the doughnuts in to glaze.

Tip 

Dip each warm doughnuts into the glaze and coat both sides. after about 20 minutes, glaze will set.
