Gulab Jamun Recipe

Ingredient:

Milk powder  2 Cup

Egg  1

Melted ghee  2 tbsp

Baking powder 1 tsp

Flour 1 tbsp

Oil or Ghee for frying

Ingredient for sugar syrup

Sugar 2 cup

Water  2 cup

Green cardamom 2 crushed

Orange color 2 to 3 drop

Method:

  1. In a bowl add milk powder, baking powder, and flour add melted ghee and mix then add eggs and mix well.
  2. Combine well forming a soft dough, and knead well. The dough should be glossy.
  3. Make a ball, sure there are no cracks in the ball if there are crack high chance for jamuns to break while frying.
  4. Deep fry on medium hot oil or ghee.
  5. Stir continuously and fry on low flame.
  6. Fry until the jamuns turn golden brown.
  7. Drain off and transfer the jamun into a hot sugar syrup.

Prepare sugar syrup

Prepare the sugar syrup by taking 2 cups sugar, 2 cups water, 2 cardamom, and orange color.

Cook till sugar dissolves and syrup slightly thick add fried jamuns to the syrup, cover pan, and cook for 10 minutes on very low flame, remove and serve.
